In Rhode Island, as well as in portions of Massachusetts and eastern Connecticut, March 2010 will long be remembered for severe storms and unprecedented flooding. The serious impact on individuals and businesses has prompted President Obama to issue emergency disaster declarations for Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
