Don't Have the Funds to Pay your Tax Liability?

Many individuals appreciate the six month extension of time to file their individual income tax return. However, filing form 4868 only extends the filing date and not the payment of any tax due with the return. Your options? If the reason you seek an extension is due to not having the funds to pay, it is far better to file the return timely without payment and ask for an installment payment plan with the IRS.  In addition, you will eliminate additional penalties being imposed.  To view the Installment Agreement Request, click here.
